Welcome at the opening of the neighborhood park Schansbroek next Saturday

Next Saturday, 25 May, the Flemish Land Agency and the city of Genk are opening the neighborhood park Schansbroek with support of Green4Grey.

It is a park where everybody finds a place: in the playground, the kitchen garden, the wooden footpath, the cycling path or just a bench. The concept for the new neighborhood park was made after an interesting course with enthusiastic concerned citizens. The  natural redevelopment of the ponds of the Hornsee in the month of May is the last phase of the land development works.

Everybode is welcome at 2.30 pm when the activities start: football tournament, kids activities, guided walking tour, live music and workshops.​
